Nancy Drew #1: Secret of The Old Clock

My first review is on Nancy Drew's first ever mystery, book #1, The Secret of The Old Clock.

 For it being Nancy's first mystery, she does pretty well. I have read through the series multiple times, and you can see things in the first book that stick with her throughout the series,for instance, The first sentance:
"Nancy Drew, an attractive girl of 18, was driving home along a country road in her new dark-blue convertible."
In the series, she eventually gets a new car or two, but that car is with her in Every.Single.Book; all the way up to book 64.

  You can tell Nancy is  first time detective, and throughout the series, she grows better as one, but she isn't perfect as most books would portray a teen. She makes mistakes, and she learns new things.

I won't spoil it, but I would give this book a 8/10, just because It wouldn't even make my top 20 list out of the series and because I really hate some of the characters and their plots. Some of them were useless to the storyline. If it was on the book alone, it would be a 10/10.

Nancy Drew: The books

Okay, so me and Andrea were talking last night, and we realized I haven't read any of the books in FOREVER!! So I will be reading every one. I will probably do reviews on them to. So today I started The Secret of The Old Clock. There are 64, so there will be a lot of reviews. Plus, that will mean I post more, so yay!

   Should I do reviews on the Nancy Drew games, specifically The Silent Spy, The Shattered Medallion, and The Labyrinth Of Lies? Comment what you think!
